Our Pastor

Jason Price and family 

     Pastor Jason came to VBC in 1997 to be our Youth / Associate Pastor.  He then married Pastor Wiseman's daughter, Dina.  They have 3 children, Ashlyn, Clayton, and Jessalyn. 

     Pastor Jason attended  Pensacola Christian College from 1991-1997 where he recieved a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and an Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  He is currently working on his Master's in Bible.

Pastor Jason and his family worked at VBC for 10 years as the youth pastor and loved their youth group and the people of VBC very much. 

     In 2007, they felt called of the Lord to pastor a church and God led them to Beecher City, Illinois to pastor Greenland Baptist Church.  They were there for 5 years and saw many saved.  They felt that the Lord was leading them back to Mansfield through many different situations.

     For 2 years, Pastor Jason preached in various churches, filling in for pastors who were sick or on vacation. 

     When Pastor John Wiseman retired to Pastor Emeritus on December 21, 2014, Pastor Jason was voted in the following Sunday.

     They are thankful for God's leading in their lives and are excited to see what the Lord has planned for them here at VBC.
